Darrell started his construction career in 1984 by taking the R-2000 Home Building Course. He took a job as a laborer where they were building a 14 unit apartment complex, before that project was completed he had a hammer and nails in his hands.Darrell worked for various residential construction companies, working with and learning from a number of very good carpenters.While making repairs, doing minor and major renovations to older houses he was often heard saying,”if you are paying attention and keeping your mind open, then you will learn something new almost every day”.Darrell has built many houses from the foundation to the finished, ready to move into home. He worked for several years doing drywall, thincoat plaster and EFIS (Dryvit) exterior stucco systems. Darrell worked for several years in commercial construction erecting pre engineered steel buildings. However the longing to work with wood brought him back to residential construction.Along the way Darrell spent a great deal of time working with his father manufacturing wood trims, casings, baseboards cabinets, solid wood doors and wood flooring of all types.
Darrell is well versed in all aspects of carpentry and takes great pride in his finished products. He enjoys making repairs and doing renovations to help others have a home they can be proud to show off.
